Accessibility Policy
Aztec Recruitment takes accesibility very seriously. In developing the Aztec Recruitment site we followed guidelines set by the World Wide Web Consortium as closely as possible. Some people find it difficult using the web, this is why we have done our best to make it as usable as we possibly could. If you have any problems using our site or any suggestions then please let us know.
Access Keys
Access keys were introduced in 1999 to allow users to quickly navigate to specific pages on a site. We have added access key functionality into the Aztec Recruitment website. To use it press Alt (PC) or CTRL (Mac) and then the number for the page from the key below. If you are using Internet Explorer you may need to follow the command with the Enter key.
- Access Key - Page
- 1 - Home
- 2 - Jobs
- 3 - Employers
- 4 - Candidates
- 5 - News
- 6 - Links
- 7 - Contact
So for example if you wanted to go to the contact page on a Windows computer running Internet Explorer you would press Alt + 5 then Enter.
Web Standards
Web standards is the way forward for web design. It's a way to standardise best practises for building websites. We have stuck to these standards as much as possible by using valid XHTML for markup, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for visual styling and the site should look consistent among all major browsers.
